On May 18th, in Quang Ngai, Ģý’s Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh met with the Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, to discuss the progress of power generation and grid projects in the province.
According to the report, in 2025 and the first four months of 2026, the transmission grid in Quang Ngai province operated safely and continuously, without incidents causing power outages, meeting the needs of Quang Ngai province's economic development.
The average annual growth rate of commercial electricity output in Quang Ngai province during the 2021-2025 period is 11.87%. By 2025, commercial electricity output is projected to reach 3.64 billion kWh, a 15.40% increase compared to that of 2024. Over the past period, Quang Ngai Power Company has ensured a safe and stable electricity supply, meeting the needs of production and business activities in economic zones, industrial parks, and industrial clusters, while also ensuring power supply for daily life and political and social activities in the area.
To date, the percentage of the population with access to electricity in the province has reached 99.7%. This result is particularly significant for a locality with a large area and complex, fragmented terrain like Quang Ngai, thereby contributing to improving the lives of ethnic minorities and people in mountainous areas.
