ĢýCPC wins Certificate of Merit from Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On May 23, in Da Nang, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) – Central and Central Highlands Branch – held the 2025 Central – Central Highlands Business Conference with the theme “Green Transition – Challenges and Opportunities for Businesses.” At the conference, ĢýCPC was honored to be one of 36 outstanding businesses winning Certificates of Merit from the VCCI Chairman.
The conference attracted the participation of representatives from departments, agencies, local authorities, VCCI leadership, and more than 300 member businesses in the region. Representing the Central Power Corporation (ĢýCPC) at the conference was Mr. Nguyen Huu Khanh, Deputy General Director.
At the conference, ĢýCPC was honored to be one of 36 outstanding businesses that were awarded Certificates of Merit by the VCCI Chairman for its excellent achievements in business operations as well as its positive contributions to the development of the business community and local socio-economic growth.
The award is a recognition of the tireless efforts of ĢýCPC’s employees in implementing energy-saving solutions, applying green technology, and advancing digital transformation in the management and operation of the power system. Not only does ĢýCPC play a key role in the region's energy sector, but it is also highly appreciated for its programs promoting the efficient and economical use of electricity, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and environmental protection.

As the key unit ensuring electricity supply for 13 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions, ĢýCPC has been implementing numerous digital transformation solutions and applying green technologies in power grid management. ĢýCPC leads in building smart grids, deploying remote metering systems, automating operations, and developing electricity-saving communication models for the community. These efforts not only help reduce power losses but also contribute to lowering greenhouse gas emissions, aiming toward sustainable development goals.
